I think it’s important as a photographer to continue training and set personal challenges and goals.

Last year, I did some newborn photography training and recently I undertook further studio lighting training with Gary Hill who is an amazing photographer based in the north. This was not my first studio training session with Gary and I’m sure it won’t be my last as there are always new things to learn and develop in photography.

When I’m booking a training day my cousin is always the one I ask to model for me and I think she’s met Gary nearly as many times as me now!

I’ve been taking photos of my cousin from the age of 12, both in the studio and outdoors, and it’s been lovely to watch her grow in front of the camera into a young lady. I even did a photo shoot with her on holiday in 2010 (photos can be viewed by clicking here) which brings back good memories. She’s not only beautiful on the outside, with a figure to die, but she is beautiful on the inside too and it’s always great to see her.

So once again, a huge thank you to my cousin for coming to model for me and another huge thank you to Gary for coming to my studio and sharing his knowledge with me.

Below are a selection of some of the photos I took on the training day.

If you would like to see other photos I have taken of my cousin, you can view these in my Fashion Portfolio.

Please get in touch via my website if you would like to book a photo session with me.
