Hope everyone has had a good start to 2014.

If you followed Project 52 of mine last year, you’ll know that I decided to do something slightly different for this year’s personal project which is to focus on a theme for each month of 2014 and then blog 14 photos from each session.

For January we decided to hit the Nottingham city centre and incorporate some of the night lights into the scene.

When I first started editing these photos I thought it would be a full colour blog, however, I’ve actually chosen more black and white photos as I felt the style (and mood) of my son is reflected more in the black and white photos.

We had quite a short time to do this photos as the light dropped quite quickly coupled with the fact that we were waiting for passing vehicles before we could photograph…and of course doing this safely at the same time.

He even took time out to do his hair – a new thing of his!

Below are my chosen 14 photos. Hope you like them and if you would like to share the post on your social media post, you are welcome to do so by clicking the link at the end of the post.

If you would like to book a newborn, children or family portrait session, please contact me.
