Well, it’s nearly the end of 2013 and I just wanted to take this opportunity of thanking all of the people who booked me for their portrait or wedding photography in 2013 and to those who have already booked me for their 2014 portraits and weddings.
It’s been an amazing year and I’ve meet some wonderful people capturing parent’s newborn babies in the first few weeks, children’s innocence and laughter through various ages and the spirit and emotion of weddings.
At the end of 2013, I took the leap into renting my own studio space. I’ve photographed some gorgeous newborn and children’s portraits in here so far and I’m look forward to building my business here in 2014 and onwards.
It’s truly an honour to be asked to record such special moments in people’s lives and I’m really grateful to everyone who chooses me to be their photographer for their wedding or portraits.
If you follow my blog and/or Facebook page, you’ll know that I embarked on a Project 52 with my son in 2013. Well, we just managed to complete the project. Photos from the last few weeks are below but you can view the full set and posts to each photo on my Project 52 page, which you can see by clicking here.
A huge thank you to my gorgeous boy for co-operating throughout 2013. I’m always grateful to him…he was my inspiration from the beginning and continues to be so. After a team talk, we have decided that we will do something slightly different for 2014 as it was quite difficult to fit in the project and edit and blog every week with work and other commitments and, whilst fun some weeks, it was a chore other weeks which I didn’t want it to be for me and my son. I’m always taking photos of him and have always shared them on my blog and Facebook page so for 2014, the team decision, is that we’ll be doing a 12 month project (Project 12 for ’14) so there will be one specific photo session each month which I will dedicate to this project and share 14 photos with you from the session.
Thank you again for taking the time to look at my work and I wish everyone a peaceful and happy 2014.
