I’ve been really excited with the photos I captured from week 25 of my Project 52 and, in fact, I’ve already ordered one as framed print.

When I’m editing my personal photos (late in the evening usually), I can’t wait to share them especially with my family.

For me, that’s what portraits are about – capturing that moment, sharing it with friends and family and then admiring and reliving it later on. Whether it’s a documentary style portrait or a styled portrait session, it shows how much children change and I simply love looking through photos old and new.

The photos from this week, were taken quite early in the morning (at least early for me on a Sunday!) as I didn’t want us to be out in the heatwave that we are having at the moment and were followed by a play on the park and ice-cream!

Apologies to my parents who I always speak to every morning but, on this occasion, I didn’t as I wanted to get out early … as I hadn’t answered the landline or mobile (which was in the car whilst we were out) they thought we’d been abducted by aliens and came up to our house looking for us … or a leftover spaceship! When we went back to the car and saw my phone with all the missed calls, it was time to check in!

Hope you are enjoying the photos from my Project 52 and if you would like to share it on your Facebook page with friends, please do so.

If you are interested in booking a children’s lifestyle portrait session, please contact me via the website or by telephone on 07977 499473.
