A couple of weeks ago, we headed to nearby rapeseed flower fields to capture another photo for Project 52.

The rapeseed flowers have appeared a little later than usual. I remember last year going to the fields earlier than this and the flowers were too long, however, this year we seem to have hit it just right.

This photo was taken early evening when the light was much nicer to go to the fields …. although taking them later in the day also made us late for swimming that night! Whoops!

I love the summer months and taking advantage of the surrounding fields and greenery for my photos!
