I love Spring time and I was really excited to finally see the bluebells out in bloom…. Q me taking my son to nearby bluebell woods for some Springtime portraits. I feel you have to strike whilst the sun is hot given the unpredictable weather we are having at the moment so I like to make the most of every sunny photo opportunity.

Spring time is probably my favourite time of the year to capture children’s portraits followed by Autumn when the leaves are falling.

The day we took these photos was really nice and, although they were taken in the middle of the day, I found some lovely shade which was pretty much perfect lighting from the right angle.

Like most people, I’m always on a mission to fit everything in in one day so these photos were taken pretty quickly as they were en route to visit family…although we squeezed in a visit to the park and ice-cream before we left!

If you would like to book a Springtime portrait session for your child/children, please get in touch with me by completing the contact form on my website (click here) or by telephone on 07977 499473.

Thank you for taking the time to look. Your comments are always appreciated and if you would like to share the post with your friends on your Facebook or social medial page, please do so.

If you are following my Project 52, you can see which photo I chose from this session for week 19 by clicking here.

And this is a “pose” that my son seems to have adopted whenever we do photo shoots…. I did ask where he’d got it from but he doesn’t know! :-
