As a Nottingham Portrait Photographer, I often visit Wollaton Hall for on-location portrait sessions. Situated in the heart of Nottingham, it’s a great location for photographs and offers spectacular backdrops. As a portrait photographer, I am constantly looking for scenery which will compliment my photos and Wollaton Hall Park never fails to disappoint throughout the different seasons. Whether it’s a summer portrait session or autumnal portrait session, it’s an ideal place for an on-location portrait session to take place.

Wollaton Hall is an Elizabethan mansion in the heart of Nottingham and is prominent Grade One Listed. Standing on a natural hill three miles west of Nottingham City Centre, Wollaton Hall is set in five hundred acres of spectacular gardens and parkland. The immaculately kept formal gardens provide the perfect opportunities for photographs.

Wollaton Hall is situated in a 500 acre historic deer park, and the herds of red and fallow deer that roam freely throughout the site, provide one of the most stunning views park users will see. The following image is one which I took whilst at a portrait session.
