At the beginning of April I had the pleasure of photographing Laura and James’ wedding. The day started for me with Laura, her bridesmaids and family at Kelham House Hotel. It was then on to St. Mary & All Saint’s Church in Bingham where a beautiful service was held.
Following the service, everyone headed back to Kelham House Hotel where the celebrations began. Transport was provided by Sharpes of Nottingham which is a family business and one which I know James is very proud of so I thought I would just give them a mention too.
It was glorious sunshine all day with the sun staying with us way into the evening and it was the first wedding this year where it was actually warm enough for guests to enjoy the grounds outside. In fact, it was quite a contrast to Laura and James’ pre-wedding shoot a couple of months earlier which was bitterly cold (click here if you would like to view their pre-wedding photo shoot at Wollaton Park).
As you will see from the photos below, Laura looked absolutely beautiful and everyone really enjoyed the day including all the very cute children who had lots of fun playing in the gardens.
Into the evening, the disco began and if there’s one song that’s bound to get everyone dancing it’s Gangnam Style which is a magnet to the dance floor for all ages!
I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Laura and James for choosing me to be their wedding photographer. It was a pleasure to be part of your day and I wish you all the happiness in the world together.
Laura and James were actually referred to me by a bride and groom whose wedding I photographed in 2010 and I also got to see them again on the day too.
