Earlier in August I had the pleasure of photographing Libby and Tom’s intimate wedding at the beautiful venue of Hambleton Hall in Rutland, Leicestershire.
I first met Libby and Tom almost a year ago at a wedding fair and then again earlier this summer when I met them at Bradgate Park for their engagement session, which can be viewed again here.
Hambleton Hall is an absolutely stunning venue and it was definitely one of our hotter days of the summer for their wedding with the sun shining throughout.
The day started for me with Libby, her bridesmaids and mum for the bridal preparations. Prior to the ceremony, I met Tom and their guests who arrived on a very cool single decker red bus.
Following a beautiful service the wedding party enjoyed celebrations in the beautiful gardens at Hambleton Hall before their wedding breakfast meal.
It’s fair to say, that I love the speeches part of the day when photographing a wedding. I have heard a lot of great speeches but I have to stay all the guys did such an amazing job. There was so much laughter and quite a few tears shed and I know everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. The best man was so nervous just before the speeches but he had absolutely no need to be as he blew everyone away.
After the wedding breakfast meal the red bus was waiting to take everyone onwards to a marquee in their local town where they were to celebrate with more of their family and friends.
As you will see below, Libby looked absolutely gorgeous and her dress was stunning. I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Libby and Tom for choosing me to photograph their wedding. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of your day and meet your families and I wish you all the best in your future together.
Libby and the bridesmaid’s make-up was by Kaye Salmon who I would highly recommend for your wedding make-up.

Cooling down …
This was a moment where Libby’s father became quite overwhelmed by the day. He took a few moments out and I thought it was such a lovely moment when Tom’s father came up and joined him feeling his emotion:-
I really wanted to share the next sequence of photos which showed such emotion between Libby and her father and her mum …
