A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Natasha and Kevin’s wedding. The day started with bridal preparations at The Belfry in Nottingham. The Belfry is a modern and contemporary venue for weddings and we were made very welcome by everyone there. Both Natasha and Kevin were at The Belfry in the morning so I took the opportunity to photograph Kevin before photographing Natasha for her bridal preparation photos. Natasha looked stunning and Kevin looked very cool too.
We then headed to St. Barnabas Cathedral in Nottingham which has beautiful architecture and is stunning for a wedding photographer.
Following photos outside of the church, Natasha and Kevin decided they would like to go to Wollaton Hall for some photos around the grounds. Having photographed at Wollaton Hall many times, I was familiar with favourite spots around the park and it was great to go there with Natasha and Kevin who were as much fun on their wedding day as they were at their engagement portrait session.
Following the bride and groom portraits at Wollaton Hall we returned to The Belfry for the reception and evening part of their wedding day. The speeches were beautiful particularly Kevin’s who spoke his in French. It’s a long time since I spoke French at school so I didn’t understand it (maybe just a few amour words!) but it was clear that it was filled with love for Natasha.
Kevin and Natasha, it was an absolute pleasure to be part of your day and I wish you all of the happiness in the future together.
Thank you also to Emma for assisting me on the day.
