As a Nottingham Wedding Photographer, the August Bank holiday this year was extremely busy for me with weddings. The first wedding over this period, was that of Sharon and Michael who were getting married at Thrumpton Hall church with a reception to follow at Thrumpton Hall.
Bridal preparations took place at their home and, as Sharon was on the ball with timings, it allowed a little longer than is often usual at the bridal preparation stage, to capture some beauty shots of Sharon and, as you will see below, she looks stunning. The atmosphere was very relaxed and fun and Sharon even managed to have a practice run of a dance which was planned with her father.
Following the bridal preparations, we headed off to Thrumpton Hall. The weather was a downpour with rain which, unfortunately, didn’t stop all day.
Following the ceremony, it was a dash in the rain to Thrumpton Hall where everyone enjoyed the celebrations. At one point, the rain started to slow down so we decided to do some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen photos outside. It didn’t take long though before it was pouring down again and it was then time to head down to the marquee for the wedding breakfast meal.
It was a pleasure to be part of Sharon and Michael’s day and I wish them all the best in their future together.
Thank you again to Emma for assisting me on the day.
