Wedding and Portrait Photography by female photographer Alison Edwards Photography covering Nottingham, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and throughout the UK.

As a wedding photographer I feel honoured to be part of such a special occasion and take great pride in recording the day’s events as they unfold throughout the day. I set myself two goals when photographing a wedding. The first is to produce simplistic and elegant portraits of the bride and groom. The second is to take a step back from the scene and photograph the wedding party in a reportage/journalistic style capturing moments that cannot be repeated.

The two approaches combined together result in a timeless and sophisticated collection of images for you to remember your wedding day with.

I have photographed at many venues in the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire areas including The Priest House, Shottle Hall, Colwick Hall Woodborough Hall, Hodsock Priory, Norwood Park, Kelham Hall, Stoke Rochford Hall, Newstead Abbey, The Goosedale , Swinfen Hall, Staunton Harold Hall Estate Newstead Abbey, Hambleton Hall and The Goosedale

As a portrait photographer, I record milestones in peoples lives from newborn photography to family portraits.

I specialise in children’s lifestyle portraiture and I love to use natural light and surroundings creating artistic and contemporary images.

I am a people person and I am passionate about creating beautiful imagery which people will treasure. Like fashion, the trends in photography change constantly and whilst I am always developing and experimenting, I maintain a sense of style and creativity so your photos last longer than a few seasons.
